Modular exhibits are hotter than ever as exhibitors, along with exhibit and event companies, are increasingly looking for ways to reconfigure and recycle their exhibit properties. This positively impacts their bottom line and their environment. The goal of the MOD Awards is to expose exhibitors, trade show, and event professionals to the best in modular exhibit design.
Our submission this year was for a trade show exhibit built for Amcor. This global client presented a logistical puzzle. With offices in the U.S. and the U.K., the client wanted a new exhibit design for the Medica show in Germany, that would incorporate existing custom exhibit inventory from the U.S. Their goal was to make a huge splash without a huge budget.
The Tradeshow Network designers focused on using modular display components from the Octanorm System to reconfigure their existing trade show inventory to effectively fit their new booth space and their marketing budget. We created an “open house” atmosphere where potential clients could sit within the boundaries of the booth to view a video or talk with a sales representative, while enjoying champagne and appetizers. In addition, we created a private conference room in the center of the unit, which allowed Amcor to invite special clients for more personal, one-on-one discussions. The reconfigured custom components, which included fabric banners and display counters, gave the exhibit a custom look without an all-custom cost. The client also requested a sterile, hospital-like environment, with lots of light beaming down on the exhibit to give it a showcase look that would appeal to its medical market.
