Good news for the trade show display industry

September 21, 2011

Did you read the article by CEIR which says that the Exhibition Industry Outperforms US Economy

trade show display industry newsBasically they are saying that the overall exhibition industry gained 2.4% during the first half of 2011 outperforming the overall U.S. economy as compared to GDP only increasing 1.9% over the same period. Given the current fluctuant state of the global economy, this is positive news for the exhibition industry and a key topic of discussion that will be presented at Predict: CEIR's annual outlook conference on 15 September in New York City.

We are seeing an increase in the participation of trade show events which is good.  Clients are still focused on rental displays and refurbishing existing trade show exhibits, but with increased participation we believe there will be increased marketing budgets for newer booths.

Are you planning your 2012 budget with increases in trade show events?  We would like to know!
