Saving by Renting a Trade Show Exhibit

With 2012 budgeting underway and the economy still sputtering, most businesses appear to be continuing their conservative approach to spending.  If your trade show budget is constrained, but you still need to make a big impression, consider the cost advantages of rental displays.  You can determine all your display costs upfront because a rental exhibit comes as a bundled package, including design, booth hardware, custom graphics, freight, set-up and dismantle.

To determine whether a rental display makes sense for you, look at your trade show schedule and your current exhibit inventory.  If you have one or two shows that are larger than the others or two shows that overlap, then renting a larger booth for one or more of those events may make economic sense. If you have an aging exhibit that needs to be retired or refurbished, compare the costs of refurbishing, maintaining, insuring and storing the booth to a turnkey rental package.

Consider, too, that the newest display components are lighter weight and easier to assemble, saving on shipping and labor costs.  If you have one or two international shows, renting may be your most cost-effective choice, given the expenses and hassles of shipping overseas. The all-in rental fees for one show are typically one fourth of the cost of a new custom exhibit of the same size with the same graphics.

If your concept of a rental display is the standard stuff available at the conference site, take a look at some of the custom-look rental displays that The Tradeshow Network Marketing Group has designed from our inventory of rental properties.

Of course, the graphic design adds the sizzle to your display.  New exhibit frames allow for full-size graphic panels that really pop.  If you choose The Tradeshow Network Marketing Group to provide your custom rental exhibit, we will design the booth configuration and graphic panels to fit your brand image and store your exhibit graphics free for one year, so that you can use them again, if the need arises.

According to EXHIBITOR magazine’s 2011 Rental/Refurb Survey, “Three-quarters of marketers understand the benefits associated with renting exhibits, but only about one-fifth have taken advantage of rental options in the past 12 months. Nearly one-third have considered custom rentals for their programs, and 43 percent of exhibit managers who have rented exhibits say that compared to owning an exhibit, renting has helped decrease their overall exhibit-related costs.”

We invite you to browse our rental catalog online and call us to talk over your exhibit design needs.  We would be happy to help you compare your options and provide you with a custom exhibit design for purchase or for rent.
